So, I remarked a little over a week ago that I should be able to steamroll forward with the book, having resolved an issue that was holding me up. So naturally that didn't happen. Work decided to step in and declare itself extra busy. I haven't even found time to read (non-work material that is).

But, I've managed to force in some writing time. Today was interesting. I've finally introduced one of the most important characters in my world and I realized that I've never, in all the years since I first created him, set foot inside his mountain abode. So, it was just as new to me as it was to the POV character who meets him. Pretty cool.

Anyway, while my hopes to finish the first draft by the end of November appear to be dwindling due to upcoming work projects, I should make a decent dent in it. I just passed the 30% mark and I'm real close to finishing up the Part I of this first book.
