Even while I ponder making the switch to e-books (when I realized more than 60% of the boxes I had when moving were filled with books) I couldn't help but swing by the store to check out what might be left on the shelves.
I noticed two things:
- The Science Fiction/Fantasy section had the smallest price reduction of any section.
- The Science Fiction/Fantasy section was the most barren (which I interpreted as having the largest clientel).
So, naturally I bought six more paperbacks (all mass market). I grabbed what remained of the Malazan books and what remained of Farland's Runelords books.
At this point I've lost count of how many books I've purchased this year. I'm pretty sure its over 70 perhaps even 80.
