Today was a good day...

This morning I had one of those moments just about every writer (including us unpublished ones) experiences. I suddenly realized I knew exactly what to do with one of the main characters of the WIP I'm soon to return to. I've known what his motivation is and what his goals are. Yet, I knew something was missing. Well, shortly after waking up my brain decided, as I was heading up to take a shower, to let me in on what was missing.

Now, I have a really clear understanding of this character. As a result, I have to throw out every sentence I've written about him so far, with the exception of one part of one scene, but what will end up replacing it will really make him shine.

And to think I didn't even have to use my AK*. :-)
