Books and more books

So, it's only the 17th day of the year and I've already purchased 15 books. Ten of those just today alone.

We made the drive into Bingamton to attend the book signing at Waldenbooks. I got to meet Joshua Palmatier (jpsorrow), Patricia Bray (pbray), S.C. Butler (scbutler) and Barbara Campbell. They were all really nice and fun people. There was a good sized crowd and books were being sold.

I came away with one of everything. Yep, 10 books in all, plus a couple of bookmarkers and a really cool little lizard keychain (which doubles as a bottle opener).

It was cold out, but getting to meet the authors was worth the drive. Anyway, I'm off to the kitchen to test out the bottle opening capabilities of my new lizard keychain. A bottle of Harp awaits!

ETA: I went with a Bass Ale instead and the lizard keychain's bottle opener tail worked perfectly. Now to get back to that Bass...
