Weekend update...

No, not an SNL related post. Just finished up my first weekend writing in my first NaNoWriMo.

I ended up a little ahead of my planned opening weekend count with:

11033 / 50000 words. 22% done!

My only wonder at the moment is whether or not I'll be able to do any reading this month. I just started David Gemmell's Legend and would hate to think I won't get back to it until December.

And I've got Diana Pharaoh Francis' The Black Ship, book 2 of her Crosspointe series, on pre-order ready to arrive in a few days.

But NaNoWriMo is my priority (outside of my day job, of course).
