NaNoWriMo begins

So, I started my first NaNoWriMo today. I've figured out what daily writing totals I'll need to accomplish (based upon my excluding Fridays as non-writing days) to hit 50,000.

If I can manage 2000 words a day I should meet my goal. However, that leaves little room for interruptions so I'm hoping to be able to knock out between 8000 and 10,000 words on the weekends. That should ensure I stay ahead of the game should anything untoward arise to slow me down.

So, Day One's word count:

5082 / 50000 words. 10% done!
