World-building Weekend

November is almost here. As I mentioned in a recent post, this year I will be participating in NaNoWriMo for the first time. I plan on using the month to write a back story for my current WIP.

In preparation for this, I will be spending this weekend doing a bit of world-building and drawing up a before-and-after map detailing the borders of kingdoms and such. Fun stuff. I can spend all day just on world-building.

Anyway, writing 50,000 words in November will be a bit of a challenge. Luckily I will be taking some vacation days during the month so that should help out.
