So, I finished reading Mad Kestral

Mad Kestral

the debut novel by madkestral Misty Massey. If you like pirates and magic you'll enjoy this book. Its a quick paced page turner and, quite frankly, rollicking fun. I'll look forward to further adventures of Kestral.

My reading list has changed slightly. A new book has joined the list and planted itself as the very next thing to be read (actually, I started it last night just after I finished Mad Kestral).

This one is based upon a review provided by Pat's Fantasy Hotlist

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

The Shadow of the Wind

Everyone I've come across who has read this book places it amongst their all-time favorites so it seems the next natural choice before I dive back into my more traditional epic fanasty reading.
